Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Bright Timber Auto Group is a Boston company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 63 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
