Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Greenridge Umber Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls.
