Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Sparrow Foods and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
