Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Foxglove Wren Environmental Services Partners is an environmental-services company in Providence with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
