Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Bluepeak Willow Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Oakland. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
