Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Northwind Cobalt Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Tampa. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
