Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Stonegate Orchard Freight is a Albuquerque logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
