Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova West Environmental Services Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
