Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Silverline Ivory Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Atlanta. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
