Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Foxglove Sable Manufacturing is a Phoenix manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
