Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Highbridge Linden Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Minneapolis, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
