Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Lumen Cedar Facilities looks after properties across the Detroit region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer sites and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with cleaning schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
