Operations Manager - vendor management (Raleigh, NC)

Northwind Basin Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for service connections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for service connections and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
