Operations Manager - vendor management (Raleigh, NC)

Greenridge Thistle Auto Group is a Raleigh company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 187 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
