Operations Manager - vendor management (Raleigh, NC)

Highbridge Birch Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Raleigh region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
