Operations Manager - vendor management (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Cedar Haven Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
