Operations Manager - vendor management (Providence, RI)

Cedar Forge Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Providence design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
