Operations Manager - vendor management (Pittsburgh, PA)

Redstone Glen Freight is a Pittsburgh logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
