Operations Manager - vendor management (Pittsburgh, PA)

Silverline Bridge Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Pittsburgh. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
