Operations Manager - vendor management (Pittsburgh, PA)

Fernwood Meridian Inspection Services Partners is an inspection company in Pittsburgh with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
