Operations Manager - vendor management (Pittsburgh, PA)

Nova Juniper Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
