Operations Manager - vendor management (Phoenix, AZ)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Hollow Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
