Operations Manager - vendor management (Phoenix, AZ)

Fernwood Linden Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Phoenix. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
