Operations Manager - vendor management (Orlando, FL)

Westbrook Nest Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
