Operations Manager - vendor management (Orlando, FL)

Highbridge Harbor Freight Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
