Operations Manager - vendor management (Omaha, NE)

Lumen Quill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Omaha working with agencies and riders, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
