Operations Manager - vendor management (Omaha, NE)

Rivermark Quarry Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Omaha region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 615 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for hardship programmes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
