Operations Manager - vendor management (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Pike Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
