Operations Manager - vendor management (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Lantern Construction Associates and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
