Operations Manager - vendor management (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Clear Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We reward reliability. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
