Operations Manager - vendor management (Oakland, CA)

Bright Ember Water Authority Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
