Operations Manager - vendor management (Oakland, CA)

Bluepeak Juniper Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
