Operations Manager - vendor management (Oakland, CA)

Greenridge Ivory Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Oakland. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 174 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
