Operations Manager - vendor management (New Orleans, LA)

Nova Umber Inspection Services Partners is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
