Operations Manager - vendor management (New Orleans, LA)

Stonegate Forge Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across New Orleans, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for scheduling and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
