Operations Manager - vendor management (New Orleans, LA)

Bright West Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in New Orleans. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
