Operations Manager - vendor management (New Orleans, LA)

Clearpath Keystone Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
