Operations Manager - vendor management (New Orleans, LA)

Bright Haven Auto Group is a New Orleans company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for warranty claims and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
