Operations Manager - vendor management (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Basin Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
