Operations Manager - vendor management (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Keystone Environmental Services Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
