Operations Manager - vendor management (Minneapolis, MN)

Bright Junction Water Authority Group operates treatment plants and pipelines around Minneapolis. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
