Operations Manager - vendor management (Milwaukee, WI)

Fernwood Quill Facilities Partners looks after properties across the Milwaukee region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 91 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for contractor visits and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with supply orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
