Operations Manager - vendor management (Milwaukee, WI)

Highbridge Oak Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Milwaukee, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
