Operations Manager - vendor management (Milwaukee, WI)

Highbridge Pine Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Milwaukee and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
