Operations Manager - vendor management (Milwaukee, WI)

Silverline Meridian Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Milwaukee. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for scheduling and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
