Operations Manager - vendor management (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Umber Foods Partners and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
