Operations Manager - vendor management (Miami, FL)

Greenridge Fern Foods produces packaged foods at its Miami plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
