Operations Manager - vendor management (Miami, FL)

Bluepeak Lantern Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Miami and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
