Operations Manager - vendor management (Memphis, TN)

Rivermark Quarry Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Memphis, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 304 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for service connections and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
