Operations Manager - vendor management (Madison, WI)

Amberfield Wilder Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for service appointments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with vehicle inspections.
